As with dressers, proportion is everything when it comes to making cabinets. Everyone can recognise a piece that seems clumsy or ‘lumpy’, and sometimes we do not give credit to pieces that just ‘feel right’. We have made hundreds of cabinets , ranging from small chests of drawers to large glazed top bookcases.

Our long experience of making new cabinet furniture, and also of handling antique cabinet furniture gives us a great understanding of proportion which is our starting point for the making of a piece that is both practical and fit for purpose.
